There can be no America 1st without God 1st. I do not care how politically astute or how much power, influence, or brilliance a person possesses. This country has fallen too far to recover without a God 1st agenda to bring it back to America 1st. By America 1st, I mean 1st in position in the world as it once was. The weakening that this country has purposely been subjected to can only be fixed by “putting” God 1st — again.
Friends and fellow patriots, you cannot change a thing from its originally intended purpose and expect it to function at the same level of proficiency.
Long before the nation as we now know it was formed, its very foundation was biblical and for a biblical purpose.
Such is the case with America. Long before the nation as we now know it was formed, its very foundation was biblical and for a biblical purpose, from the recognition of equality among all people to the hierarchy of constitutional guarantees to the tripartite governmental structure to securing our individual freedoms in the Bill of Rights, and so on. I would argue that historically, the closer we have stuck to the Constitution and other founding documents like the Declaration of Independence, the stronger we have been as a nation. On the other hand, the more we have strayed from the confines of America’s founding documents, as we are seeing now, the weaker we have become as a nation. Today, the evidence is there for all to see.
The Founding Fathers based the Constitution for this new, albeit experimental, form of government on a Perfect Plan for humanity, what I call the Constitution for life, the Bible. All humans are flawed and always have been since the Fall of man in the Garden of Eden. Why do we expect anything different from the Founders? They founded the best government with the most freedoms to the people by the people. A nation directly run by God would be the best, but we would still be in trouble because men would have to interpret what God was instructing. Such was the case with the nation of Israel. Imperfect men trusted in a perfect God to create this nation that has risen to be the mightiest superpower in the modern world. They risked their fortunes, their families, and their very lives to break away from a tyrannical king who ruled over the most powerful empire at the time – the British Empire.
But as with everything that mankind tries to do without God, once a departure from His ways began and departure from the very documents that have secured our freedoms and catapulted us to a place of incomparability, a possibly irreversible slide downhill began. That brings me back to my original point. America can never be 1st again until God is back in His original place, and we are quite literally once again “One Nation Under God Indivisible with Liberty and Justice for All.” Without this return, we are doomed to division and the possibility of being conquered from without. It’s the older tactic in the book. Notice that we are first conquered from within before an external force can overcome us. Remember, forewarned is forearmed. Do we want that? It is time to awaken the sleeping giant of “We the people,” never to be lulled to sleep again.
Without a return to God and a return to our Constitution, what awaits us as we stare down the barrel of the weapon threatening our sovereignty is globalism. One world government and a total loss of individual freedoms. Our Founders were not perfect men, but they were very smart men. They knew what government was capable of when it became too large and focused on itself in its lust for power rather than the people. Power begets power to beget even more power. When we as conservatives say “yes” to small government, what we are really saying is “yes” to is keeping the power out of the hands of those with an uncontrollable lust for power and in the hands of the people. That is why the Bill of Rights begins with “We the People….” Constitutionally, the power rests with the people in the states, not the few people in D.C., who often forget their places as servant leaders. Think of the initially intended power structure of our government by the framers of the Constitution as an inverted pyramid.
The three hundred and thirty million citizens and legal residents are at the top and the 535 (100 senators and 435 representatives in the House) at the bottom, along with the judiciary and executive branches of government. That is the Constitutional balance of power. However, we all know that over the years, the pyramid has flipped, and now it is the few at the top with the masses at the bottom. “We the people” have been put at the bottom of Washington’s priorities, and now we have no choice but to fight to regain our constitutionally guaranteed form of government.
It is time for “We the People” to take back our government. Then, and only then, will God be 1st in America again so that America will be 1st in the world again.
That is what America 1st means to me.
So let’s MaGFA (Make God First Again) so that we can MAFA (Make America First Again)!
